Natural History Museum – Settlement

Natural History Museum Settlement – With Restored T-Rex statue and Scrapable Junk
Located in the Westminster worldspace, this mod turns the Natural History Museum into a fully functional settlement providing a large central HQ settlement for the Wayfarer in the heart of Westminster. 

This beautiful building provides a huge head of operations building for your empire, containing a huge dinosaur skeleton in the centre which has been restored with a telegraph pole in a law friendly fashion to be the centre of your settlement.

Most of the animals like the Woolly Mammoth are also fully movable and scrapable.

Notice
This is my first mod, but I will continue working on it and making more objects scrapable. Rather than uploading an extra version with all junk and debris removed I will instead make all of the junk scrapable so you can choose how clean and tidy you want the building to be. Most Fallout London settlements are quite at the moment buggy, especially involving supply lines. Once the FOLON team have had a chance to fix these I will update the mod to resolve the final issues.

Place Anywhere Mod with [Extra Objects Enabled (INSERT KEY)] makes even more objects movable/scrapable and is recommended.

What’s Currently Working

  • Full interior workshop (Like Vault 88 in base game DLC)
  • Settlement map marker is fully functional.
  • Settler job assignments seems to be working well and settlers remain assigned.
  • Area is fully sandboxed and nav meshed, settlers use all three floors of the central hall.
  • Supply lines function and provisioners show up from some other settlements, I was able to establish a working supply line with London Bridge. Most Fallout London settlements are quite buggy at the moment, especially involving supply lines.
  • Lots of trash should now be scrapable, and I will continue adding to this. 
  • Cell edits are fully compatible with base game quest in the location, and the quest can be completed with no issues as I have intentionally left key areas outside the build area.

  • Pre-Combines regenerated to aid performance and stability.

Coming soon

  • More Reliable Supply Lines (Requires fixes from Team FOLON for all settlements)
  • All objects scrapable in location. This process is time consuming and requires manually breaking them out of the pre-combines and adding recipes.
  • Controllable lighting via new maintenance area.
